Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the candies that were homemade during the holidays. As a teenager, I learned to make it so I could give it as a gift. As an adult, I got carried away with making more than 50 kinds of candy! As friends asked if I made their favorite candy, I would look through cookbooks for hours until I found their favorites, make it, and surprise them for birthdays, anniversaries, or holiday gifts.  Because it meant so much to me to be able to make the candy and surprise them, I never stopped to figure the total cost.

Peanut brittle was a favorite old-fashioned candy for many. I kept making different brittles until it was decided the one I am currently making is the favorite. Now, with over 50 years of experience making brittle, I hope you love it just as much as my family and friends. Enjoy!
